Who should do this activity?

Primary age children aged 5 to 7 years-old is the targeted audience. If you have an 8 or 9 year-old and want to ease into the talks before starting Puberty Topics in a Jar, this is a simple way to get the talks started!

What Topics are Covered?

This activity focuses on body parts, bodily autonomy, reproduction, gender, and social and emotional skill building. Questions around friendship and bullies are particularly helpful as kids this age are starting school and are witnessing and experiencing peer to peer social interactions.

How Long Does it Take?

There are 30 questions and answers. It is recommended to only do 1 or 2 questions per day in order to give your young child the space to process the information. Each question takes on average a minute to ask and answer. But set aside 3 minutes just in case your child needs a little more time to think about the question before giving their answer.
